You’ve got to give it to them. The mainland Chinese are a creative people.
The first time I saw a formation of paragliders swooping down over a crowded city square was in Chengdu, China. That was an awesome sight for country bumpkins like me. I thought they were an outfit catering to adventurous travelers who were game for some adrenalin-flushed sightseeing in the sky.
Sadly, no, they were hired to advertise a product. But, that was a quite an innovative tactic to attract eyeballs, don’t you agree?
